Ok, it really has been a long time since I posted!

My how time flies! Life has been amazing and super busy! Addy turns three in a few weeks and Aven is almost 8 months! We have been trying to stay cool and took an awesome family trip to San Diego. Brett and I head out today on a trip (that he won)to the Florida Keys. So here are ALOT of photos to keep you busy until the next time I post!!!

What we're up to...

Well the weather in Tucson is beautiful! Sunny and warm perfect for a picnic. Times are good. I am back to work. I am working for Brett and it is going well. Addy is awesome, definitely a two year old, but lots of fun. She can count to 13, sing the ABC's and loves to call people and have complete conversations. She amazes us everyday. Aven is a doll. He is such a happy, smiley baby. He coos, giggles, blows raspberries and can roll over both ways. He is enjoying eating some solids (pureed of course) foods.

January at the Stein residence!

Sorry about the recent posts that didn't have any content! Brett won us a really cool camera and I am trying to figure out how to put videos on the blog! Please bear with me!

January was fairly uneventful, which was very nice. The kids are doing great. Man they are growing up so quickly, I can't even believe it! Brett and I are doing well. We stay busy, but love our lives with these two precious kiddos!

Ahhh the holidays...

As much as I love the holidays, I am thrilled they are over. Not because I don't enjoy spending time with my loved ones, but because things can now calm down, and I have less "things" to do. Life with a 2 month old and a 2 year old is busy enough without the added duties of Holiday cards, shopping and outings.

We had a wonderful holiday season. It was so fun watching Addy really understand and enjoy the holidays this year. She really enjoyed watching movies (Shrek the Halls, Grinch, etc) and eating sweets (I am happy too that is over) as well as our hayride through Winterhaven (local neighborhood that goes all out with holiday decorations), even though it was pouring rain and freezing!! We (Brett, Holly, Addy and Aven) started some of our own traditions (went and decorated a Gingerbread house at the Ritz Carlton on Christmas Eve) as well as joined my family for theirs. Brett and Addy celebrated Hanukkah together and lit the Menorah every night.

New Years was spent with our dear friends the Duncans. We ate a bunch of junk food and played with the kids. At 10pm we celebrated New Years (watched the ball drop on the east coast) with them, and then Brett and I stayed up until midnight (okay 12:10) playing Trivial Pursuit (I won by the way).

All in all it was great. I loved having Brett home for a week plus and am ready for a healthy and prosperous New Year.

This past month...

life has been a bit hectic, sleepless and wonderful. We are really enjoying getting to know Aven. Addy is a great big sister and is adjusting fairly well. She loves her little brother and really enjoys helping me take care of him. She has some moments where she wishes she could have my exclusive attention, but overall is doing well. Aven is thriving and is, for the most part, a mellow little guy (so far). He smiled at me and Meemaw for the first time last Friday! Pretty cool to get our first smile at 4 weeks!

We spent a lovely (and filling) Thanksgiving at my parents house are gearing up for Christmas! Happy Holidays!
